You can pay everything upfront, but you don't have to.
Depending on the plan you select (STANDARD or ELITE), we offer a 12-month subscription plan, adding a small additional fee.

If you select our ALL AMERICAN plan, we apply a success-based model, which ties payments to the successful completion of clearly defined milestones. The milestones are testament to the progress we achieve together.
Our plans are designed in a way, which allows you to pick just the right level of support, you believe you require and enjoy.
The varying prices reflect the level of engagement and involvement our staff members set aside working with you.

When it comes to the level of support you want, it really starts with the questions: what do you require? If you care about maximizing your chances, ELITE or ALL AMERICAN are probably better picks.
The recruiting process differs significantly for international applicants.
Navigating much more complex eligibility questions, working with a plethora of different academic records and high school degrees & a completely new world of speaking to college coaches in a language, which is not their mother tongue.

Add to this an increased layer of administrative paperwork (visa application) and you're looking at a much more complicated process than is the case for domestic students like yourself.
Most relevant for STANDARD and ELITE:
That's a great question :) and the answer is very technical.

First off, most coaches want to hear from you directly. Not your mum, dad, uncle or acquaintance. As you won't have access to their cell, the single best way of doing so is by making sure they receive a strong initial email. Yes, you can find most coaches' email address in staff directories online. But imagine you are able to link your email address (Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) with your Smarthlete account and any message sent to a coach through your account is automatically sent from your actual email address. Beautiful, right?
And on top of that: no looking up of coaches' email addresses needed ... ;)
A contract always forms the basis of our collaboration to establish a shared understanding.

We never start our work with you before receiving a mandate to do so: a signed agreement.
For athletes, interested in subscribing to our ALL AMERICAN plan, we often start with a phone or video call to understand the sort of colleges you would dream of studying & playing at.
